In addition, I apply a custom pricing policy since each project is unique due to the subject matter involved, the level of difficulty, the volume, the format and the delivery deadline. Based upon a set price per source word for translation and an hourly rate for revision and proofreading, I can prepare a detailed estimate so you can stay safely within your budget.

I am able to work with different file formats: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.), PDF, HTML, TTX, RTF, XML and so on.

I primarily use the computer-aided translation (CAT) tool Trados Studio 2022. In addition, I am comfortable working with client portal CAT tools such as Memsource, LogiTerm, MemoQ, as well as with localization platforms such as Transifex, Weblate, among others. CAT tools allow harmonising old and new translations, thereby ensuring consistent terminology is used each and every time. This is not machine translation (Google Translate, etc.). I make it my responsibility to carry out each task with complete integrity and autonomy.

Effective communication and proper organization are key to satisfactory service. Here are the main steps of my work process:

Assessment of the request and preparation of the quote → Approval of the quote → Performance of the service (Translation/Revision/Proofreading) → Delivery of the project → Payment for the service

In addition, you might need the project to be delivered in stages because the deadline is short. If I can handle the task within this time frame, I will make the necessary arrangements for partial deliveries.
